The November 2025 Special Town Meeting in Sterling, Massachusetts has been in recess since approximately 19:00 on Monday, November 3, 2025. It is expected to reconvene at an undetermined location on Thursday, November 13.

Several significant articles are on the warrant, including a zoning bylaw related to the MBTA Communities Act and a $2 million dollar appropriation for the DPW building project.

The original meeting was scheduled for 18:30 on November 3. There was an unprecedented level of attendance at the meeting, with many voters waiting outside the venue or struggling to find parking. Select Board member and Clerk Maureen Cranson remarked that she had "never seen so many come out for a special [town meeting.]"[1][2]

Because the venue could not accommodate all of the voters in attendance, a recess was declared shortly after the start of the meeting.[2]
