edit edit source
The original meeting was scheduled for 18:30 on November 3. There was an unprecedented level of attendance at the meeting, with many voters waiting outside the venue or struggling to find parking. Select Board member and Clerk Maureen Cranson remarked that she had "never seen so many come out for a special [town meeting.]"[1][2]
Because the venue could not accommodate all of the voters in attendance, a recess was declared shortly after the start of the meeting.[2]
Rescheduling and venue
edit edit sourceOn the night of the 3rd, Assistant Town Clerk Shane Rhodes told the Clinton Item that the meeting would be rescheduled for the night of Thursday, November 13. However, the location of the new meeting had not yet been decided.[2]
